FAQs
Here you will find some common questions that you might be wondering. Even though they should be these questions and answers are in no particular order.
So urban fantasy? What exactly does that entail?
Glad you asked ! Urban fantasy is a sub-genre of fantasy fiction that takes place a city or urban setting. It often features supernatural elements and beings, such as magic, vampires, werewolves, fae, and other mythical or cryptid creatures. My own books have a main character vampire that gets tangled up in the affairs of werewolves in modern day. Feel free to check out my books page for more info. I actually discovered an article here that describes the genre really well I think.
Is indie author the same as self published author?
I like the sound of "indie author" better than "self published" author. I have also heard arguments on whether or not they are interchangeable, so here is the first result in the google search "indie author vs self published same thing?'
"Indie author is a writer of fiction, nonfiction, or poetry books who self-publishes their own work and retains and controls their own publishing rights. Unlike authors who self-publish a book for family, friends or community, an indie author (wants to) make a living from writing and publishing books. "
Why choose becoming an indie author?
Simply because I have more control over everything. Like what the book cover looks like or what my characters do or how I want the story to go. I don't need to write to market or write whats trending and it's less stressful for me (though it is a labor of love to get my books ready).
Where are your book(s) available?
Winter Bound is available as ebook and paperback on Amazon, and Amazon only for now. If found somewhere else it will be considered piracy and please don't pirate my books. My books page can take you directly to the link. Check out my blog or connect with me on social media for updates if that changes.
Are your books on Audible?
Working on it.
Are you up for interviews?
Sure....maybe? Feel free to contact me with details and we'll see.
Do you write full time?
Nope, as of right now I do not have that luxury.
