It's only the 5th of November and I already feel behind. Maybe it's because of the time change, or maybe it's because I had.wanted to start self edits on book 2 and the start writing for book three this month using trackbear to measure my progress and that hasn't happened for me yet, and I have no plans in trying to rush to catch up with it for the month.

I have started a fairly good writing routine as the weather is getting much cooler (finally) and at the cost of my allergies. I swear I never had allergies when I was a kid but when I started living on my own it's like they kicked into full gear.

Because it's finally starting to feel like fall where I live, I have been cleaning and decluttering in my tiny little apartment. Where do I find the time you ask? I'm still unemployed....it's defiantly gotten to the point where my husband and my therapist is telling me to take a break from job hunting for a few weeks and to try to do something relaxing. Decluttering can be fun for me but I defiantly need to be in the mood for it. So I'll focus on writing book 2, where the plot came at me so aggressively hard that it's trying to make me rewrite parts that I already have and will have to wait it's turn when I do (yet another) rewrite of book 2.

But what's stopping me doing that?

Carving out how the Fae work in my world. The structure, their courts, their powers, their weaknesses, their history.....luckily I have The Element Encyclopedia of Fairies which has been pretty useful in giving me a good foundation for my own bestiary in my series bible.

And lets not forget what kind of reprimand that Nada must face for what she did in Winter Bound. I have the pieces there, I just have to make it interesting.

And of course how do I get it all to go back the scene in my head that I have for the end of book 2. I have the climax and the ending chapter with the scene that ties everything up in a nice little bow for the next book.

I could write from there and work backwards which I have done and it worked out fine but that was for a different writing project a while back and perhaps I'll end up trying that again now that I know a little bit more about writing. But I do remember that it ended up being scrapped because that it not how I wanted the story to go.

I believe that that's all I have for this week.
