We all know that there are Intuitive writers and Plotter writers...well....for a long time I considered myself quite the intuitive writer, and would still say that I lean more towards that side of the spectrum.

Including readers! I can't wait to announce the release date, the cover, title, and blurb of book 2 out in the wild and it's so close to being ready to release it almost feels unreal. I know that I am personally very excited to finally get the story out of my head and into the wild. If only I could get the pixelation fixed on the cover image...but that's a problem for later...yeah....later.

But here it is...A Simple List of Indie Author Projects that I want to accomplish this year. In no particular order and only some with dead lines and somethings have to happen first before other things can be released.

The snow moon has some nice timing with Imbloc being the time between the winter and spring equinox(s) , the moon waxing into full during the rest of winter, landing on Imbloc as full, and waning as winter comes to a close for the season.

Oh yeah, have I struggled with this before.

While I'm not trying to come across as 2026 is the year I change everything overnight, I have thought about how I want to go about this year as far as my writing career goes. At least for the first quarter of the year anyway....mostly...

So naturally, I have a Spotify profile so I can have a playlist for my books, characters and the Mississippi River pack in general. I have always enjoyed working while listening to music, and I know that this isn't a brand new concept for authors, but it's still very fun.

I have started a fairly good writing routine as the weather is getting much cooler (finally) and at the cost of my allergies. I swear I never had allergies when I was a kid but when I started living on my own it's like they kicked into full gear.

Why is it that our writing plans go array? My goal was 10,000 words a week for 4 weeks (month of October) but alas here we are, another 3k-ish short of my goal at 7,828. But does that mean I failed so far? Or does it mean that I just have to rethink about how to approach my goal? Rethinking my goal it is because October is not done yet. So as explained earlier, 10,000 works for 4 weeks in October. This would be about 2,000 words for 5 out of 7 days. However some days are bett

I am not in favor of someone generating AI and then claiming it's their own original work,

Pumpkin spice lattes, apples, wheat stalks, maple leaves, college football, bonfires, the lower frequency of crickets, and an all around more woodsy feel for me overall.

While nothing is ever guaranteed, I am hoping to get a pretty polished draft of Book 2 established by the end of the year, maybe even GASP a release date?! But to make that happen, I will need to do a few things.

With the unintentional symbiotical I took over the summer to look for a new full time job and focus on my writing, one would think that I am refreshed and motivated to "get back at it" or "hit the ground running" or even dare I say "relax." None of that happened.

Obviously I have a lot to write about but sometimes there are things that get in the way of my writing time, like the day job, or looking for a new job, or deep cleaning and decluttering my apartment. But here are somethings that I'm trying to do to keep with with what I want to accomplish.

Thats right! I have the next book in the Mississippi River Pack series, staring Nada, Zikie, the Mississippi River pack and a few new characters!

I reveal in Book 2 that there is a lot a green house in near the back of the Mississippi Wolf Pack manor. That is of course inspired by my own dream garden. As I live in a "city town" - my container garden will have to do.

Hot in the since of weather of course, but also in the since of will my books ever be noticed? Will I ever find a community? Enter the idea of Patreon.

I'm not sure if the second part is true but it is defiantly an end of an era.

Why is everyone jumping ship? And are they really or does it just seem like so?
