How I'm Trying To Not Stress Out and "Get Ahead" this Spring and Summer

Obviously I have a lot to write about but sometimes there are things that get in the way of my writing time, like the day job, or looking for a new job, or deep cleaning and decluttering my apartment.

But here are somethings that I'm trying to do to keep with with what I want to accomplish.

There is a lot on my to do list and by doctors orders I am supposed to learn to relax. But because of my "need to feel productive" nature until I learn what relaxing means I have come up with a plan to "get ahead".

Of course I don't think there ever really such a thing but here is my attempt at it.

  1. Planning: This involves making todo lists every day and while it's not in any particular order or even that it all has to get done that day, I have it in my line of sight.

  2. Baby Steps: This one I can not stress enough! It is very important to not feel overwhelmed when trying to "get head" and it can be easily over whelming. Baby steps (Like writing a month of blog post and pre scheduling them) can motivate me more (like working on the garden). Crossing these things off of the todo list is very rewarding for me.

  3. Take your time: We all have deadlines that we want to meet but it's also okay if we don't get it done on time (with in reason of course). It will get done, and as long as we rememeber that we are allowed to take our time - we are going to be okay.

I'll be sure to have an update to see if this works out. I'm not able to put these things fully into practice so we'll see. Maybe I'll even develop something better or some adjustments that will be more manageable.

At the end of the day, it's whatever you are able to do that will not make you feel overwhelmed.

Relax, it will be okay.
