A Simple List Of (Author) Projects I Feel I Should Have Posted Earlier, But I Didn't So Here It Is

Like many indie authors I have "little" goals that I like to keep track of so that I can help keep track of what I'm doing. Some of these may be presented for the very first time (like outside my mind) but some you may have read over and over again because I keep posting it over and over again.
I was inspired to make this list as I look over my writing goals and by a youtuber (as I often am). I've discovered another youtube indie author who is based in Arizona named Andrea J Severson PhD. She vlogs about her life working full time as a professor and her job as an indie author. She writes romance and cozy books, a very different genre than my urban fantasy books, but she is pretty chill to watch/listen too if you want to check her out.
But here it is...A Simple List of Indie Author Projects that I want to accomplish this year. In no particular order and only some with dead lines and somethings have to happen first before other things can be released.
Calling Shadows - Book 2 in the Mississippi River Pack series
Edit
Format
Cover Design
Release it into the wild
Book 3 (no title yet) - Book 3 in the Mississippi River Pack series
Outline (as much as I can) as an intuitive writer
Write the brain dump or zero draft of it
Complete my tangible series bible
I have it saved digitally of course but there I only have so many screens
Substack or other platform for a newsletter?
I do want a newsletter but further research is still needed
Check out Barnes & Noble indie publishing
Might be able to do this for Calling Shadows, but further research is still needed
Check out Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee
I don't know it could be cool
Get a solid Idea on how to make an anthology
I have an anthology brewing in my head about how the Mississippi River Pack became werewolves and all met Alastor but I want to do a little more research and brainstorming before I can make it happen.
A sci-fi project experiment
It's blurry right now, but I have a sci-fi story brewing in my head as well and I want to make sure I can do it justice by, of course, doing research and brainstorming but also maybe just writing it out to see if it's something I would be able to do......I am not a major sci-fi reader or writer - but defiantly would play Cyberpunk 2077 as a comfort game...so stay tuned.
Follow and be followed by real people on social media (mainly fb and insta)
I don't want to have a Twitter (X) result and end up with a decent amount of followers that end up either being bots or people who are making their status updates trying to munipluate people into reading their work. I haven't been on Twitter (X) in a very long time and may very well end up deactivating my account.
Sell books
I know that this should be way more of a priority if I want to "thrive" as an indie author and of course I do, is there an indie author who doesn't? But I just want to make something. This is not an economy where many people have a lot of disposable income, or even where I have the extra funds to pay for ads (of any kind). But if I can just even have 10 complete strangers read Winter Bound, then that means I would have shared my world with 10 complete strangers who would hopefully enjoyed it enough to stick around and see what happens next.
I don't know if some or all or any will be able to get accomplished this year, but thats where I'm at now. How about you? Do you have any goals that you want to accomplish in the near future? Feel free to let me know.
