Monthly Check In & Plan For The Rest Of The Year.

Yep yep, this is going to be a short post.

So this is the week before Thanksgiving (U.S.) which is a fairly big event in my family because of how we are all able to gather around to catch up with each lives and eat really good food.....at least on one side. On the other side there is still great food, and I'm even able to cook most of it but you know,....family drama (like most of us right?)

So the monthly check in that I started in October and want to continue through the "ber - months." How are they going? Well, I have had three goals before the end of the year, and there is still some time (albeit not very much of it).

• Edited Book 2 draft Not exactly done this yet but I have made so much progress on the plot. I am a little distracted with the world building but I am wanting to sort this out as I believe that it will be a great advantage for me to write quicker and easier. Plotting and worldbuilding is part of writing right? Well it is now.

  
  

• Getting ahead on future blog posts ✅ I have actually gotten a pretty good handle on this so far. I'm trying to stay about a week ahead, and have figured out when I can make space in the day (or night) to be able to do this. But it's also not so far ahead that I feel left out of current situations in the indie world.
  

• Have Book 2 cover

  Do I have a draft of this? Yes. Is it actually made? No. Will it be made before the end of the year? ....Yes?.....

Now then, for the plan for the rest of the year:

• I haven't decided yet if I am able to post a blog the day before Thanksgiving (U.S.) but half of cooking a big meal for everyone is prepping and waiting so we'll see.

• December 3rd 10th, and 17th should have blog posts up.

• I will be taking 3 weeks off to enjoy the winter holidays and reset for 2026.

Speaking of. 2026, I'll need to obtain and set up a new planner soon. Perhaps I'll make a fun blog post about how I set that up - Quick! Off to the Future Idea Parking Lot !
