So fun fact, I'm not even exactly sure if everything will make it into the book or not, it's more so for my own reference that I would need it, just to keep my story straight. A preview into my series bible.
The names of these are still of course a work in progress and are very likely to change before they make it into official cannon of the books. But here is how I have it set up so far.
Please pretend these notes are in a prettier format than it is presented
Not every Fae creature is automatically in one of the courts, however usually a fae will be on the Seelie (Lighter) or Unseelie (Darker) side.
Each side has 16 "inner" courts, with on average 50 or so members give or take, resulting in 32 total known court and around 1600 official members.
As of right now the full name of the a fae court is "The {Seelie or UnSeelie} {Season} {Cosmic Time} of {Adjective} and {Adjective}. The following names at the moment are still "filler" names. Examples:
The UnSeelie Summer Night Court of Tides and Starlight.
The Seelie Autumn Dawn Court of Leaves and Ash
The UnSeelie Winter Day Court of Frost and Stone
The Seelie Spring Dusk Court of Earth and Clouds
I was wanting to have an image of my little spread sheet to post here too, but unfortunately I have been distracted by other indie author tasks today.
More information to come as I continue to chip away at book 3.
Feel free to let me know if you want me to do more posts like these where I give you a little sneak peek into my Mississippi River Pack world. Perhaps I will have a Patreon in the future with even more behind the scenes details?
Just have to figure out what goes into a content/marketing/media plan. When and if I ever figure that out, I'll be sure to post it here and to let you know if it actually works or not.
